Reminded of that throughout this season, the Spurs â" again the top team in the West â" opened Sunday with a convincing 106-91 victory against the Utah Jazz.
Even an off game from Manu Ginobili (seven points, 3-of-10 shooting) could not derail the Spurs, who entered the postseason well rested and as healthy as they have been all season.

BOX SCORE: Parker tops all scorers
Spurs point guard Tony Parker led all scorers with 28 points and added a game-high eight assists. Tim Duncan had 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Gregg Popovich, certainly mindful of the late-game injury that has shelved the Chicago Bulls' Derrick Rose for the postseason, removed his Big Three with two minutes 19 seconds to go and a 104-87 lead.
The Jazz will fly home for a couple of days, then return to San Antonio for Game 2 on Wednesday.
