Popovich on the Thunder's hack-a-Splitter strategy, similar to the hack-a-Shaq strategy that he used to employ: “I've never done that before. I think it's a really lousy thing to do. It's unsportsmanlike. No, it's a good move.”

Brooks: “We have to do everything better, from guarding the pick and roll to closing out. It's a variety of things we have to do. But we have enough. We have enough in our locker room to do it.”

Parker on why the Spurs pass so well: “When you have Coach Pop screaming at you every day, that will make you pass the ball. He's always big on, ‘Find a better shot.' That's the way we play.”

Parker on whether he was surprised by the Thunder's rally: “Not at all. OKC is a very, very good team. They came back very strong on us. We knew they were going to make a run. We just tried to hold on.”

Thunder forward Kevin Durant: “We lost. There's no moral victories for us. We're upset about the loss.”

Thunder guard Russell Westbrook: “We're not here to try to make it a close game or make it a good fight. We're here to win.”
