TNT analyst Charles Barkley: “I think the Spurs are gonna beat ‘em pretty good tonight, to be honest with you.”

TNT color analyst Steve Kerr: “Dribble. Dribble. Dribble. Got to start moving the ball. There's too much dribbling. You can't beat a good defense by overdribbling.”

Spurs point guard Tony Parker about Tim Duncan's dunk late in the first half: “It's like a vintage Timmy. Serge is going to block shots, but that time, Timmy got the best of him.”

Barkley on Spurs' halftime entertainment, a drummer beating on buckets: “I'm gonna go out on a limb â€" they're gonna have better entertainment in OKC.”

TNT color analyst Reggie Miller in the third quarter: “This is a surgical clinic by Gregg Popovich and the San Antonio Spurs.”

Miller later in the third quarter: “This is how basketball should be played.”

Thunder coach Scott Brooks during a fourth-quarter timeout: “No wasted seconds by walking. We need every second we can get.”

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich during a fourth-quarter timeout: “Don't let up a second. That's a helluva team. Don't let up a second.”

Kerr: “Seems like the Thunder have turned this into a street fight.”

Popovich: “It's a big boy game.”

Parker about Popovich's second-half tirade directed at him: “He's screamed at me for 11 years. We weren't getting our plays. We were playing sloppy.”

NBA TV analyst Steve Smith on the hack-a-Splitter strategy: “It's perfectly legal but not fun to watch.”

Barkley: “I gotta call out my boy Scott Brooks tonight. It took him over three quarters to see you can't play those two big guys [Kendrick Perkins and Serge Ibaka] together.”

Popovich on the Thunder's hack-a-Splitter strategy, similar to the hack-a-Shaq strategy that he used to employ: “I've never done that before. I think it's a really lousy thing to do. It's unsportsmanlike. No, it's a good move.”

Brooks: “We have to do everything better, from guarding the pick and roll to closing out. It's a variety of things we have to do. But we have enough. We have enough in our locker room to do it.”

Parker on why the Spurs pass so well: “When you have Coach Pop screaming at you every day, that will make you pass the ball. He's always big on, ‘Find a better shot.' That's the way we play.”

Parker on whether he was surprised by the Thunder's rally: “Not at all. OKC is a very, very good team. They came back very strong on us. We knew they were going to make a run. We just tried to hold on.”

Thunder forward Kevin Durant: “We lost. There's no moral victories for us. We're upset about the loss.”

Thunder guard Russell Westbrook: “We're not here to try to make it a close game or make it a good fight. We're here to win.”
