Tracy McGrady in black and white?
It could be. The veteran guard and former All-Star is currently a free-agent looking to latch onto a team before the start of the new season. So far, he's been unable to do so. McGrady played last season with the Atlanta Hawks but wasn't able to play himself into another contract with the team.
Now, according to a report, McGrady has worked out for the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs have yet to offer McGrady a guaranteed contract, and so his best option at this point may be to accept a training camp invite or look for guaranteed money overseas.
McGrady doesn't have much left to play for outside of a championship, which he doesn't have. And so joining a contender like the Spurs may be all that McGrady wants to do before calling it a career. However, it's pretty certain that any team that signs McGrady will only do it at the veteran's minimum and not much more.
