San Antonio Spurs Stephen Jackson Drops Hip-Hop Hit "Fall Out" - Bleacher Report

Stephen Jackson is beginning to change the sentiment that all athletes make horrible rappers with his latest song called "Fall Out."

Project Spurs spotted this music video from their star player who also happens to be something of a gifted flow artist. 

The Hip-Hop hopeful continues to battle my initial thinking that NBA players make for horrible rappers. And I am right for the most part.

So let's get through some of the complaints you might see in the YouTube comments section or floating around social media spheres pertaining to the video. 

Some take offense to the overuse of auto-tune in the song, as if that is something we are suddenly going to worry about in pop music. 

If Kanye West can make millions using it, I am not about to belittle Stephen Jackson for dousing his chorus in auto-tune. 

It seems some have an issue with his use of a phone to read his lyrics, something found in a lot of other rap videos. 

Again, Jackson isn't the only one, and this is far from his day job. 

What I like to concentrate on is his smooth flow and the rather soothing tones of this song. Simply, this is really something I could listen to regularly. 

It's a far cry from other songs that have been put out by NBA stars. I point to this list as evidence. 

It doesn't say a lot to be the best NBA rapper, which is kind of like being the skinniest kid at fat camp. However, Jackson shows he has more game than others in the studio.
