Former Lincoln-Way East standout Dean Anna racked up two hits and drove in a run for the San Antonio Missions in a 10-6 loss to the Corpus Christi Hooks in a Texas League game June 15.Anna also scored a run in the game. The Mokena native finished his college career at Ball State after playing two seasons at John A. Logan College.
He is batting .288 on the season. Anna has tallied 53 hits, including five home runs, and has driven in 23 runs.He was taken in the 26th round of the 2008 first-year player draft.
